Kim was born and raised in Fort Myers, FL. For as long as she can remember, she has had a love for animals which sparked her interest in the veterinary field. After several years of being a stay-at-home mom, Kim decided to go back to school to become a veterinary technician. She has been with SVS since 2014.
In 2017, Kim and her family founded a non-profit called Animals and Kids which rescues animals from treacherous living situations and brings kids to the farm to teach them the responsibilities of taking care of animals. Kim and her family have rescued several horses that were on their way to the slaughter house, but they were able to save them and give them a fresh start on life. The kids involved have taken on the responsibilities to feed and maintain the horse, so they have an amazing quality of life.
