Heather grew up in upstate New York and Florida. She knew at an early age she wanted to work in the veterinary field because of her love for animals. After graduation, she pursued her dream and began her career as a veterinary technician and soon after became licensed.
Working as a technician for over 17 years, Heather has spent most of her years in the ER department as a critical care technician as well as in internal medicine. She became a lead technician and worked her way into a management role. Heather worked at Veterinary Emergency Center in Leesburg, Florida, Palm Beach Vet Specialists in Palm Beach, Florida, Pet PB in Boynton Beach, Florida and Veterinary Specialists of South Florida in Cooper City, Florida.
In addition to her management roles, for the past four years Heather has also worked as a Field Support Representative for Heska Corporation. She installs diagnostic lab equipment and trains veterinary staff all over the Southeast.
Heather is married and has two teenage daughters, Summer and Taylor. She has two dogs, Maui and Bruiser. She also has two cats, Joker and Versace. Heather enjoys spending time with her daughters, shopping, painting, and paddle boarding.
