Community Partnerships

Over the years, Specialized Veterinary Services has continued to build strong partnerships with local rescue organizations, humane societies and animal services. We take pride in supporting our community and giving back as well as participating in a variety of local events.

CROW (Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife)

Located on Sanibel, CROW’s team specializes in wildlife medicine and includes veterinarians, veterinary interns, certified veterinary technicians, rehabilitators, students (fellows and interns) as well as a corps of volunteers.

Found injured wildlife or abandoned babies?

First step: Call CROW at (239) 472-3644 x222

They will be able to provide you with proper handling instructions should the wildlife need assistance.

SVS partners with CROW to assist injured or abandoned wildlife to ensure the proper care is taken toward rehabilitation. SVS is a CROW drop-off location. If you have found wildlife that needs to be transported to CROW, you are welcome to drop off at our hospital, any time of day or night. We are available 24/7/365.
