<p><a href="http://svsfl.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/Rehab-Logo.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-954" title="Rehab Logo" src="http://svsfl.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/Rehab-Logo.jpg" alt="" width="224" height="180" /></a>When you come to SVS for the initial rehabilitation consultation, you will meet with Valerie Webb, RVT, our Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner.  She will take a thorough history of your pets condition and the timeline for progression of the dysfunction.   She will evaluate you pet for underlying orthopedic and neurologic issues.  Initial data will be recorded including the decrease of lameness, joint range of motion angles and muscle mass circumference.  She will recommend a rehabilitation plan and schedule to both you and you regular veterinarian.  In most cases, patients will need to come in for physical rehabilitaton sessions at least 2 times per week initially but the frequency of the sessions will taper as your pet improves.</p>
